Keithley's 6487 picoammeter, in addition to containing all the functions of 6485, adds a 500V voltage source for high resistance and resistivity measurements. It has higher accuracy and faster rise time than 6485, and also has a damping function for leakage testing of capacitive devices. This cost-effective instrument has eight current measurement ranges and a high-speed automatic range. The measurable current ranges from 20fA to 20mA. It is measured at a rate of up to 1000 readings per second, and the voltage source is from 200μV to 505V.
