In the instruction manual of the instrument, there is a measurement parameter selection table as shown in Table 1. In the table, Primary is the main parameter column, and Secondary is the secondary parameter column. In the table, Z is the impedance, Y is the admittance, R is the resistance, G is the conductance, Cp is the parallel capacitance, Cs is the series capacitance, Lp is the parallel inductance, Ls is the series inductance, and the day is the phase angle of the voltage relative to the current, X is the reactance, B is the susceptance, D is the loss factor, Q is the quality factor, Rp is the parallel resistance, and Rs is the series resistance.
Before testing the components or the assembly of two components, the user must select a primary parameter to be tested from the main parameter column and a secondary parameter to be tested from the secondary parameter column according to their holding points. A primary parameter is matched with a secondary parameter, and there are 20 combination schemes to choose from. After a measurement is completed, the instrument's LCD screen will show the measured values and units of the primary and secondary parameters.
